Claire's Mud In Your Face Mud Mask

Claire's Mud In Your Face Mud Mask

So, on the same day that I got the Claire's lipglosses, I also picked up a mud mask from Claire's, again, out of curiousity. It is a white and purple bottle, and it's an item from Claire's newest line called Spoiled Rotten, which also includes toner, lip balm, etc. I've never tried a facial item from Claire's before, so I didn't really know what to expect when I tried this.

There were a lot of things that I like about this mud mask. The mud is pretty smooth (clumpy mud masks are NOT fun, and not worth your time to fuss around with), and so putting it on was really easy and nice. When I first put it on, I didn't really feel anything, but as the mud starts to dry a little, there was this slight tingling feeling, which felt really good. Then, the mask made my skin feel really cool, as if there were an ice cube on your face. Depending on what you prefer, you may or may not like this, but since it's a scorching 95 degrees in pitiless sunlight where I am, it felt really relaxing and refreshing. Throw in some mint ice tea and I would never stop! The mud mask was really easy to take off as well, and left my skin feeling fresh, clean, and smooth. Another big plus is that the mask contains tea tree oil.

I'm not sure if the fact that the mud mask inside is greenish colored is a bad thing, so the only technical dislike I have for the mask is that it was a bit hard to get out of the tube. When I first tried, the tube made some odd crackling noises, and you have to really squeeze the tube to get the mud out. But there's not really anything I dislike other than that...

Not the best pic...

The bottom line: I like this mud mask! Sure, it's not the best mud mask I've ever had, but it works well. It felt cool and tingly, and left my face so soft. I don't know if this was supposed to happen, but it also made some redness on my face go away. And when it comes to scent, the scent is pretty neutral. On a scale of zero to ten, this Mud In Your Face Mud Mask by Claire's earns a 8.1.
