When To Use A Pantiliner:
Pantiliners are great for:
. Everyday use and freshness
. If you suspect that your period will start
. Backup for a pad
. Backup for a tampon
. Discharge
Not-so-great for:
. Swimming
. Absorbing the actual period
How To Use A Pantiliner:
Could it possibly get any simpler and easier?
1. Unwrap the plastic wrapper, but if the pantiliners aren't individually wrapper, skip to Step 2.
2. Peel the pantiliner off of the wrapper/backing, and position it in your underwear.
3. Press down to secure.
How To Shop For Pantiliners:
The main point in pantiliners are basically the same for every brand, but common points are:
. "Disappearance" (Like if it feels like it's not there)
. Softness and comfort
. Zero creasing
. Absorbency
. Adhesive strength
. Breathability
. Reliability
Since a big "staple" of your period stash will include pantiliners, find some or one that you really like and can move around in.

Q: Can pantiliners be used for discharge?
A: Absolutely yes, unlike tampons and some pads! (Save those pads for the actual period.)
Q: Can pantiliners be used as backup?
A: Pantiliners are great for backups. You can wear it with a tampon to catch spotting, or with pads as extra protection.
Q: How often should I change the pantiliner?
A: If it's for a light period drawing to a close, at least every 2 to 4 hours or as often as you need. For discharge, it's okay to leave it be for up to 6 to 8 hours, unless it starts to feel icky.
Q: How should I dispose of a pantiliner?
A: Just like a pad using the roll-up technique.
